Third year graduate student Alice Burchett presented her recent work on cancer-myeloid organoids at the 2023 annual meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES). This research is supported by recent NIH funding to the TIME Lab and seeks to examine immunomechanical mechanisms of immune-suppression vs. -stimulation in myeloid populations from the tumor microenvironment, such as macrophages and monocytes.
