Fionn Lay ‘25, an incoming undergraduate researcher in the TIME Lab, won a prestigious and substantial scholarship to attend the North American Vascular Biology Organization (NAVBO) Vasculata 2022 conference at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina from July 18-21. Vasculata is NAVBO’s annual summer course providing an introduction and overview of vascular biology research, with a strong emphasis on undergraduate education. In addition to attending seminars and workshops, Fionn was invited to tour the Gerecht Lab in the Duke Pratt School of Engineering alongside Bioengineering graduate students from the Hanjaya-Putra Lab at Notre Dame.
